Sam Seepersad

Juan D. Tichy Managing Director, Mining

Juan Tichy is the founder and CEO of Colores & Minerals. Juan is an entrepeneur who's family owns one of the largest cashew nut producers in Colombia, Luloexport Ltda, and a coffee producer and exporter, C.I. Colombian Bogota Coffee Ltda.

Stationed in Bogota, Colombia, Juan oversees mining operations.

Dr. Arthur G. Robinson Managing Director, South East Asia

Dr. Robinson heads the group's South East Asian operations, where he brings to bear many years of experience in Shipping and Trading, having served with United Molasses Company and Tate & Lyle Limited in the UK, Caribbean Molasses Company in Georgetown, Guyana, Pacific Molasses Company in San Francisco and Far East Molasses Company in Thailand where his strengths were in purchasing, selling and shipping sugar and molasses.

He served with Canadian Pacific Steamships Limited as their Far Eastern Director of Marketing which quickly entered into a Joint Venture with the Malaysian International Shipping Corporation Berhad, the National Shipping Line of Malaysia, where he served as Executive Director of the joint-venture between the two shipping giants.

After Canadian Pacific's tanker division was sold to the Livarnos group he established the new entity, Seachem Tankers, in Singapore and then returned to Malaysia and established Robinson Shipping (M) Sdn Bhd .

Dr. Robinson is also the current President of the Malaysian Institute of Management Toastmasters Club of Kuala Lumpur, serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Branding Malaysia foundation, heads the Malaysian Business Breakfast Club, and is involved in linking tertiary education institutions involved in business administration and marketing.

Dr. Robinson is based in the Kuala Lumpur office.

Hugh Richardson Managing Director, Energy

Mr. Richardson is a graduate of Trinity College, Glenalmond, Scotland and McGill University, Montreal, Canada, where he obtained an Honours Degree in History and Political Science in 1969. Since then he has held positions with various oil industry operations including SEDCO, Rowan International Drilling Inc. Otis Engineering (now part of Halliburton), A.G.& P. Inc. (Philippines Offshore oil and Engineering Group), the Expro Group, and Production Testers International Ltd. His extensive experience in the oil industry makes him an invaluable asset to Sinoafrique. He heads up the Energy Division and is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Sam Seepersad Managing Director, North America

Mr. Seeparsad earned his BSEE from Cleveland State University. He comes from a consultancy background, and has, in recent years, fulfilled various roles within the Pfizer Group. Mr. Seepersad runs the New York office, where his connections in financial institutions and American commodity groups are invaluable to the group offering.
