The Group operates an energy division with a view to growing its involvement in fossil fuels and alternative energy. Current activities include:

• Trading of crude Oil and refined products in partnership with Maxigor Oilcom
• Coal mining and supply of thermal coal, coking coal and anthracite
• Coal to liquid fuel transformation

Sinoafrique also offers consultancy and engineering services for the following:

• Oil Field tubulars and completion equipment
• Miscellaneous equipment
• Technical and service personnel
• Drilling rigs, barges and offshore support vessels
