COLORES & MINERALS LTDA

Colores & Minerals Ltda is a Colombian based company, and holds exploitation rights to a number of mining sites in Colombia.

In February 2005 the Sinoafrique Group acquired Colores & Minerals, and is aggressively investing in mining operations and complementary logisitics infrastructure in order to ramp up production.

Feasibility studies have been conducted on most sites, including logistics infrastructure for transportation of materials to ports. Initial exploitation is being undertaken at the following mines.

Iron Ore
Curumani, Cesar Province
Puerto Colombia, Atlantico
Mocoa, Putomayo Province

Coal
Briceño, Boyacá Province
Sutatausa, Cundinamarca Province

Chrome and manganese mines are also being prepared for production.
